About Pleasant Trees, LLC
Pleasant Trees, LLC is an arboricultural consulting and tree care company dedicated to the long-term stewardship of trees in the landscape. Our work begins with understanding—evaluating tree health, structure, and site conditions—so that every recommendation is grounded in science, experience, and the specific goals of the property owner.
We specialize in helping clients make informed decisions about their trees, whether through tree risk assessment, preservation planning, or ongoing tree care. While we provide expert tree pruning services, plant health care, and removals when necessary, our approach is rooted in guidance first—ensuring that any work performed supports the longevity, safety, and integrity of the tree.
We believe trees are essential to both the environment and the human experience. When properly cared for, they can thrive for generations—enhancing property value, providing ecological benefits, and creating a lasting sense of place. Our role is to help preserve those benefits while responsibly managing risk.
Pleasant Trees is led by owner Jason W. Anthony, a second-generation certified arborist with over 20 years of experience. Beginning his career at age 16, Jason combines extensive field knowledge with ongoing professional development. He is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert, and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), providing clients with clear, objective recommendations and a high standard of tree care.

“Hi! I’m Jason Anthony. I hope that you’ll invite Pleasant Trees, LLC on your journey to maintain and beautify your landscape by keeping your trees in optimal health and form.
I previously owned and operated a tree service ‘Broadleaf Tree Service, LLC’ on the upper eastern shore of Maryland for almost 10 years before selling to a larger company in 2016 and then moving to Hawaii. While living in Maui I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel and work on all of the neighboring islands: Oahu, Molokai, Kauai, and the big island of Hawaii as a contract tree climber.
Living and working in Hawaii was a wonderful experience! Ultimately I decided to come back home to Maryland and to be close to the Chesapeake bay and all of the familiar trees and changing of seasons.”
